El Proceso de Solicitud de HouseKeys

  1. Cree un Perfil en MyHouseKeys.com

    1. Verifique que la información de la cuenta de su hogar esté completa y actualizada antes de ingresar al sorteo.

    2. Verifique que sus ingresos y el tamaño de su hogar sean correctos; de lo contrario, esto puede afectar su proceso de elegibilidad.

  2. Obtenga su ID de Solicitud del Programa

    1. Después de haber creado su cuenta, vaya al Centro de Programas, seleccione la ciudad donde se encuentra la oportunidad y solicite su ID DE SOLICITUD para ese programa.

    2. Tenga en cuenta que solo puede ingresar a un sorteo por programa a la vez. Si decide retirarse de un sorteo, no podrá ingresar nuevamente a ese sorteo.

  3. Ingrese al Sorteo de Oportunidades antes de la Fecha Límite Publicada

    1. Una vez que un sorteo esté abierto, se establece una FECHA LÍMITE DEL SORTEO. Si está interesado en la oportunidad de ese sorteo, debe ingresar antes de la fecha publicada y antes de las 5 p.m. PST.

    2. Una vez pasada la fecha límite, se realiza una CLASIFICACIÓN INICIAL aleatoria, y todos los que ingresaron antes de la fecha límite son clasificados. Una vez completada la clasificación inicial, se publica la LISTA FINAL CLASIFICADA para la consideración de todos los solicitantes.

      1. El número de la clasificación final está sujeto a cambios después de que se verifiquen las preferencias.

    3. El administrador de la cuenta del hogar debe ingresar al sorteo.

      1. Las inscripciones enviadas por el resto de los miembros del hogar serán anuladas.

      2. Los hogares solo pueden tener una cuenta. Intentar tener varias cuentas podría resultar en descalificación o, como mínimo, en una clasificación predeterminada en el puesto más bajo recibido.

      3. Solo puede ingresar a UN sorteo por programa.

      4. TENGA EN CUENTA: Las inscripciones fechadas DESPUÉS de la fecha límite de inscripción al sorteo, si se permiten, no serán clasificadas, pero pueden ser consideradas como una opción de respaldo, si es necesario, y serán revisadas según el orden de fecha y hora de ingreso.

    4. DOCUMENTOS MÍNIMOS REQUERIDOS PARA INGRESAR A UN SORTEO Y SER CLASIFICADO

      1. Documentos requeridos que deben ser presentados antes de la fecha límite de inscripción al sorteo:

        1. Se debe completar y firmar una solicitud específica de HouseKeys para el proyecto y el sorteo.

        2. Precalificación de préstamo vigente: Para participar en el sorteo y completar la compra, elija un oficial de préstamos de la lista APROBADA de prestamistas y oficiales de préstamos de HouseKeys. Obtener una carta de precalificación requiere tiempo; le recomendamos encarecidamente que comience este proceso de inmediato.         3. NOTA: Algunas ciudades o proyectos tienen listas específicas de prestamistas. Consulte la página de la oportunidad o el Aviso del Sorteo de Oportunidades para su sorteo si esto aplica para usted.

      2. (Si aplica) Anexo E – Formulario de Preferencia con documentación de respaldo. Encuentre el formulario aquí: Documentos de referencia y formularios estándar — HouseKeys.

        1. Si no proporciona evidencia/documentación clara y sustancial junto con el Anexo E antes de la fecha límite, no será elegible para la preferencia que afirma cumplir y perderá cualquier consideración de preferencia para la clasificación.

        2. NOTA: Algunas ciudades no tienen preferencias de ciudad, por lo que este documento no será requerido en algunas ciudades. Consulte la página de la oportunidad o el Aviso del Sorteo de Oportunidades para ver si esto aplica para su sorteo.

        3. Los solicitantes que ingresen antes de la fecha límite sin la documentación requerida serán omitidos.

    5. ASEGÚRESE DE REVISAR EL AVISO DEL SORTEO DE OPORTUNIDADES PARA SU SORTEO PARA OBTENER INSTRUCCIONES COMPLETAS, FECHAS LÍMITE Y DIVULGACIONES.

      1. NOTA IMPORTANTE:

        1. En algunos casos, oportunidades específicas requieren más documentos que los listados aquí. Verifique nuevamente el Aviso del Sorteo de Oportunidades para la propiedad a la que está solicitando para asegurarse de presentar todos los documentos de respaldo requeridos antes de las fechas límite designadas.

        2. Los solicitantes que no cumplan con las fechas límite para ingresar a los sorteos o presentar la documentación necesaria serán omitidos.

    1. Check that your household account information is complete and current before entering the drawing.

    2. Verify your income and household size are accurate; otherwise, this can affect your eligibility screening.

  2. Get your Program Application ID

    1. After you've created your account, go to the Program Center, select the city where the opportunity is located, and request your APPLICATION ID for that program.

    2. Please note that you can only enter one drawing per program at a time. If you opt out of a drawing, you may not re-enter that drawing.

    3. Instructions on obtaining an application ID can be found in the first 60 seconds of THIS VIDEO.

  3. Enter the Opportunity Drawing by the Published Deadline

    1. Once a drawing is open, a DRAWING DEADLINE is established. If interested in the opportunity in that drawing, you must enter by the published date and before 5 pm PST.

    2. After the deadline is passed, a random INITIAL RANKING is held, and all those who entered before the deadline are ranked. Once the initial ranking is done, the FINAL RANKED LIST is published for consideration by all applicants.

      1. The Final Ranking number is subject to change after preferences are verified.

    3. The household’s account administrator must enter the drawing.

      1. Entries submitted by the rest of the household members are void.

      2. Households can only have one account. Attempting to have multiple accounts could result in disqualification or, at a minimum, a default ranking of the lowest ranking received.

      3. You may only enter ONE drawing per program. 

      4. PLEASE NOTE: Entries dated AFTER the drawing entry deadline, if allowed, will not be ranked but may be considered as a backup, if needed, and will be reviewed in order of entry date and time.  

    4. MINIMUM DOCUMENTS REQUIRED TO ENTER A DRAWING AND BE RANKED

      1. Required documents that must be submitted by the drawing entry deadline:

        1. A Housekeys Application specific to the project and drawing must be completed and signed.

        2. A current/valid loan Pre-Qualification: To participate in the drawing and complete the purchase, choose a loan officer from the APPROVED HouseKeys list of lenders and loan officers. Obtaining a pre-qualification letter requires time; we highly recommend you start this immediately. The Lender list, application forms, and lists are here: Packaging a Buyer File — HouseKeys.

          NOTE: Some cities or projects have specific lender lists. Please refer to the opportunity page or the Opportunity Drawing Notice for your drawing if this applies to you.

        3. (If applicable) Exhibit E – Preference Form with supporting documentation. Locate the form here: Reference Documents & Standard Forms — HouseKeys.

          • If you don’t provide clear and substantial evidence/documentation along with Exhibit E by the deadline, you will not be eligible for the preference you claim to meet and will lose any priority preference consideration for ranking.

          • NOTE: Some cities do not have city preferences, so this document will not be required in some cities. Please refer to the opportunity page or the Opportunity Drawing Notice to see if this applies to you for your drawing.

          • Applicants who enter by the entry deadline without the required documentation will be skipped.

        4. PLEASE ENSURE YOU REVIEW THE OPPORTUNITY DRAWING NOTICE FOR YOUR DRAWING FOR FULL INSTRUCTIONS, DEADLINES, AND DISCLOSURES.

          1. IMPORTANT NOTE:

            • In some cases, specific Opportunities require more documents than those listed here. Please double-check the Opportunity Drawing Notice for the property you are applying for to ensure you submit all the required supporting documents by the designated deadlines.

            • Applicants who miss the deadlines to enter the drawings or deadlines submit the necessary documentation will be skipped.
